We are rapidly expanding and have recently opened up our manufacturing facility in Grand Junction. Role

This is an experienced WordPress Developer position reporting to the VP of Marketing. Qualified candidates should possess a strong level of confidence and initiative to identify, present and execute opportunities autonomously. You will be responsible for back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, SCSS, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, and so on).

You will be working directly with our Brand Manager to design and implement new content and features on our corporate website; taking design templates and translating them into usable, scalable code is a must.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate strongly understands industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, understanding the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and web applications
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools for Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning such as GIT
  • Strong Understanding of PHP back-end development

  • Design and implement new features and functionality
  • Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CSM
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin

Job Type:

  • Full-time

Salary:

  • $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
