Completes daily work to meet established schedule with guidance from supervisor on prioritization of tasks. Solves problems of limited scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of well-defined procedures and practices. Maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Dumping, filling and packaging raw powder materials and finished goods
  2. Labeling and packaging nutritional products in accordance with GMPs, plant safety, quality and manufacturing guidelines;
  3. Performing and documenting routine quality checks in accordance with the work order and SOPs;
  4. Recording information on approved documents.
  5. Resolving problems and make routine recommendations;
  6. Cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining a safe and clean work factory;
  7. Performing a wide variety of assembly operations;
  8. Setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines;
  9. Other duties such as lifting and stacking packages on pallets, placing labels on packages, and putting data sheets with product;
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Must have:

·         Good written and verbal communication and teamwork skills,

·         High work standards,

·         Ability to effectively lead teams and manage multiple priorities,

·         Strong mechanical aptitude,

·         Proficiency in computers and

·         High tolerance for stress.

Line of Reporting

The Production Line Operator reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.

Schedule (two shifts below but have some flexibility with days)

Monday - Thursday 6a - 4:30p

Friday - Sunday  6a-6p at shift differential rate of 1.111%
