Department: Esports Program
Job Description:
Post about all things Esports on the main Bay State College Esports Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Snapchat pages. Facilitate interesting content that will attract potential new students to Bay State.
What they do:
- Post match scores online while working with the graphic designer for the program
- Post daily content in addition to match scores such as streams going live for players or the esports program
- Reply to messages on various social media platforms from other students
- Train other students about how to post on various social media platforms
- Answer any student questions about Esports
- Monitor social media campaigns for the esports program and the various teams
- Perform other duties assigned
Skills/Qualifications Sought:
- Must be a currently enrolled at Bay State College
- Must be in good academic and social standing with a maintained minimum GPA 2.5
- Ability to create meaningful posts on social media platforms
- A basic understanding of how these various social media platforms function in terms of viral posting
Bonus Qualifications:
- Understanding of new social media platforms
- Understanding of esports postings and the needed tags for content posts
Working Conditions:
Normal office conditions. Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels. Work involves the operation of computer equipment for six to eight hours daily and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions, as necessary.
