Job Function
The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales to help generate revenue for the company. He/she will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy.
· Achieve assigned sales targets
· Develop new customers, prospect new opportunities and foster good customer relationship for revenue growth and customer retention
· Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of products, applications and technologies for the purpose of product sales
· Plan and prepare sales visits, maintain customers and update project status / activities daily
· Work with Product Marketing team to organize meetings and workshops/trainings with customers
· 20%-40% travel required
Job Qualifications
At least 4 years of sales experience in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive structure, development and manufacturing processes, and electrical instrumentation
Understand and have knowledge of EV battery cell/module/pack and EV powertrain structure (inverter, motor, etc.) (Preferred)
Ability to develop connections with major automotive/EV companies (GM, Ford Motor, Stellantis, etc.), Tier 1 auto parts companies (BorgWarner, Lear, etc.), tool vendors (AVL, ETAS, dSPACE, etc.), and automotive/battery system integrators (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent education
Self-motivated, analytical and a team player
Ambitious and performance driven personality
Enjoy selling and a hands-on person
Open-mind for cultural deference and diversity
Candidates must be US citizen or Permanent resident.
