What you’ll be doing:

The credentialing coordinator is responsible for working with providers on all aspects of credentialing, reappointments, and licensing. This includes assisting with applications and verification functions according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.  The role  serves as a liaison between ID Connect’s providers and credentialing, payer enrollment, and  team members from client organizations.

Requirements:

  • Facilitate initial credentialing, licensing, reappointment, and license renewal processes by obtaining required documentation from providers and other sources.
  • Efficiently and accurately complete applications, meticulously tracking process status and providing detailed documentation within established time frames.
  • Ensure completeness and integrity of the credentialing database by organizing and maintaining provider files and adhering to data entry standards.
  • Deliver requested documents and information promptly and professionally.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills when engaging with providers, team members, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding provider information while fulfilling assigned job duties and responsibilities.
  • Be tenacious in follow up and problem solving, ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges, promptly notifying the manager within 24 hours of identifying potential issues or concerns.
  • Work autonomously, being flexible and resilient in high-stress environments.
  • Eager to learn and expand credentialing knowledge as it pertains to a high growth company.
  • Proficient in delivering outstanding customer service and adept at navigating challenging interactions with ease.
  • Excellent data entry and computer skills required and driven by a strong desire to maximize the use of technology to automate processes. 

  

 

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree (Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 1 year of credentialing experience preferred but not required
