ABOUT THE ROLE

Roland Foods is seeking a highly motivated and talented Strategy and M&A Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to develop and execute the company's overall strategy, as well as lead all aspects of M&A activities. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, evaluating risks, and conducting due diligence to ensure that the company's growth and profitability objectives are achieved.

As a response to the pandemic, Roland Foods office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to report in-person Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to telework on Monday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative, cross-functional nature of the organization, employees at the NY and NJ offices are required to work in-person for the abovementioned days, outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the company's overall strategic plan, including identifying growth opportunities, evaluating risks, and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Lead all aspects of M&A activities, including identifying potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and integrating acquired companies into the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market trends and competitive landscape, and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives and partnerships.
  • Conduct financial analyses and develop financial models to evaluate the potential impact of strategic initiatives and M&A opportunities on the company's financial performance.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop business cases and gain buy-in for strategic initiatives and M&A opportunities.
  • Prepare materials to support decision-making around strategic initiatives and M&A opportunities.
  • Manage and mentor a team of strategy and M&A professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategy development and M&A, with a strong interest in these areas.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop financial models and conduct financial analyses.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred

  • Master in Business Administration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


SALARY RANGE

Roland Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways Roland Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $90,000 - $130,000.

This role is bonus eligible.

 

Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion, the salary offered.
