Role Description: 

Roland Foods is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial full cycle Recruiter to support the growth of the organization and expand our talent acquisition capability.   Join Roland Foods as it positions itself to recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and help shape the company’s vision for the future by recruiting essential talent.  The Recruiter will build direct relationships with the key operational stakeholders, including Sales, Operations/Supply Chain, Strategy and Marketing, and Finance.  As part of the People & Culture team, the Recruiter will develop and implement an inclusive, disciplined framework for recruiting and hiring, using technology and other resources to streamline and optimize the process for all participants.  This position is currently remote but will be expected to report to Roland Foods’ New York City headquarters in Summer 2021.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the full cycle Recruitment process for the company (200 employees) by demonstrating excellent communication skills and solid HR/Recruitment business acumen.

Develop close and trust-based relationships with hiring managers and leaders by learning the business, developing recruitment strategies, and driving candidates with clear cultural fit as well as strong skill sets.

Own the talent acquisition function from start to finish from posting job opening, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and candidate follow up.

Propose and develop consistent, deliberate sourcing and recruiting initiatives and solutions to meet the needs of the growing business.

Deliver a respectful, smooth, and informative candidate experience at all stages of the interview process.

Implement strategies to build a pipeline of talented, diverse, and authentic candidates.

Use data and analytics to ensure the company is meeting its diversity, equity, and inclusion goals as it relates to hiring and advancement, as well as to measure and assess recruiting performance.

Educate hiring managers on best practices through formal and informal trainings.

Assess and propose new initiatives such as intern/co-op programs, college relations, etc.

Be a Roland Foods ambassador who can generate excitement and interest through their own passion and knowledge.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or a related major preferred.

3-5 years of HR experience with a concentration in recruitment either as a staffing specialist or a generalist with recruitment responsibility.

Proven success in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.

Passion for building an intentionally diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

Problem-solver, independent thinker, and analytical powerhouse who is excited to use data to optimize processes.
