We currently operate four Rural Health Clinics; in Oakridge, Blue River, Elmira and Estacada, Oregon, where we provide comprehensive primary, preventative, behavioral health, and dental care services to approximately 5,000 patients. We are headquartered in the Portland area, although most of our admin staff split time between traveling out to our clinics, working remotely, and working at HQ. This position will split time between working at clinic sites and (mostly) remotely.

The data analyst position’s primary goal is to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
In this role, you will be in charge of reporting quality measures and company KPIs for all clinic sites, creating new reports to measure improvement initiative success, and supporting the Billing and Administrative Director, Operations Director, Clinic Managers, QI Team, Executive Director, and other leadership team member data requests.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports that are easy to access and understand for clinical staff
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and present findings
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports and performing manual audits
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Support our Quality Improvement Committee to define new process improvement opportunities and the supporting data elements to measure improvement
3+ years experience working as a healthcare data analyst
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
Quality Improvement in healthcare experience preferred
Understanding of lean methodologies preferred
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases to include Google Sheets, Excel, and EHR systems.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings in a user friendly way.
Compensation: $26.00-$28.00/hour DOE
Hourly position with benefits
Work location: Portland or Eugene area, clinics, and work from home as agreed upon.
