Greenprint Partners is seeking an Assistant Program Manager based in the Seattle area to join the Greenprint team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing portfolio of community-centered, climate-resilient infrastructure programs for municipal and non-profit clients in the Pacific Northwest (including clients such as King County Wastewater Treatment Division). This position reports to the Vice President of Program Management and PNW Market Lead, Rose Jordan. The ideal candidate brings a passion for working at the intersection of sustainability and equity, is a strategic thinker who can create structure out of ambiguity, and is an experienced project and relationship manager who can develop and lead complex programs while engaging multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. The Assistant Program Manager will play a pivotal role in assisting Program Managers in various aspects of program development, implementation, and management. Our Seattle office is currently a remote office, so for the foreseeable future this is a work-from-home position with regular in-person engagement for project work and team meetings.

General responsibilities:
In this role, you can expect to…

Collaborate with Program Manager to effectively manage project teams, including delegating tasks with clear guidance, reviewing work for accuracy and clarity, and providing constructive feedback;

Assist in the strategic planning, development and implementation of community-driven climate resilience strategies and programs for government and non-profit clients;
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, landscape architects, urban planners, communications professionals, and more to develop integrated climate resilience solutions;
-
Support various aspects of program development, launch, and management, including project scope development, contract management, team coordination, budget management, and client and stakeholder engagement;
-
Help manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and assist in resolving project-related issues;
-
Conduct community outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness and build support for climate resilience initiatives that seek to achieve equitable outcomes;
-
Assist in the preparation of grant applications to secure funding for climate resilience projects
-
Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and other deliverables to clients, community groups and stakeholders;

Actively engage in new client relationship cultivation and assist in the development of proposals for relevant pursuits.
While your work and project portfolio will evolve over time as you grow professionally and as Greenprint grows as a company, during the first year you can expect to primarily focus on delivering the following work for major public water quality infrastructure projects in Seattle:

Identifying and promoting linkages between community priorities and plans

Finding creative solutions to partner with, resource, and build capacity for adjacent community-led climate resilience projects.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as: sustainable urban development, climate mitigation and adaptation, urban planning, transportation, water, energy efficiency, public program management, or other related fields

Demonstrated excellence and integrity in equity and environmental justice, stakeholder engagement, and frontline community partnerships, and navigating diverse stakeholder perspectives and priorities

Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively develop project plans, manage budgets, oversee project teams and meet or exceed client expectations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, stakeholders, community-based organizations and residents

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and in a team

Work Environment & Required Travel

As a remote employee, you will be responsible for providing your own home office space and high speed internet.

This role requires local travel around the Seattle area and schedule flexibility for occasional (1-2) evening and weekend community meetings each month.

As Greenprint grows, this role may expand to support projects across the State of Washington that may require occasional travel for onsite project work or community meetings. Additional national travel to the Chicago headquarters and for relevant conference participation is anticipated at minimum semi-annually.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position will be based on experience and qualifications and ranges from $78,750 - $115,500. In addition to base salary, all Greenprint staff participate in our annual profit sharing program.
