WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Drumline’s Business Intelligence team is a group of data-driven marketers responsible for data visualization, reporting, advanced analytics, and performance measurement.
We are looking for an analyst who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of business intelligence and data science — ideal for someone who wants to lean into reporting and visualization while continuing to build technical and analytical skills.
As a member of our BI team, you will gather and integrate data from multiple sources, analyze performance trends, and develop dashboards and reports that illuminate key business metrics and drivers. You will work across multiple brands and industries, partnering with quantitative research analysts, data scientists, CRM & loyalty team members, and client stakeholders.
Beyond producing reports, this role helps translate business questions into analytical solutions and ensures insights are accessible, accurate, and decision-ready. You will contribute to both recurring reporting and exploratory analysis, helping uncover opportunities for growth and optimization.
This is a highly collaborative role with strong mentorship opportunities and a clear path for developing deeper analytical expertise over time.

- Conduct descriptive and diagnostic analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and drivers of performance
- Translate business questions and requirements into analytical approaches and reporting solutions
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or Looker Studio
- Ensure reporting outputs highlight actionable insights, not just metrics
- Support exploratory data analysis and hypothesis-driven investigations under guidance of senior team members
- Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, or gaps and escalate or resolve as appropriate
- Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, assumptions, and processes
- Present findings to internal teams and stakeholders in clear, business-focused language
- Partner with data scientists and other technical teams to operationalize advanced analyses into reporting environments
- Build a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and strategic priorities
- Contribute to the growth and overall success of Drumline
WHAT SKILLS YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, economics, business, computer science, marketing analytics, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Internship, coursework, or early career experience involving data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful business insights
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, methods, and business domains
