Our client is searching for an experienced People Analytics Developer to help build a world class organization. Successful candidates will have a solid background in business intelligence/data visualization - the technical capability to compose SQL or configure data warehouse tables is required. This is a dynamic role focusing on reporting and analytics, expanding the use cases leveraging analytics tools and technology, with an intention to drive demonstrable improvement in the workforce insights delivered to our client’s leaders.

 

You will build strong relationships with several organizations, with the primary objective of understanding their needs and enabling leadership to make effective, data driven, strategic operating decisions. You will be highly data driven, technically astute, a solid communicator, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with limited direction and supervision.

This role is 100% remote with no travel anticipated.  Candidates can be located anywhere in the US.

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Review and implement Workday reporting and analytics solutions including People Analytics, Prism, Discovery Boards and Workforce Planning.
  • Pull data from multiple sources/solutions and build necessary tables in the Data Warehouse (Snowflake) for comprehensive analytics.
  • Develop Tableau, Workday, and other analytics tool dashboards that provide self-service capabilities for HR Partners and Leads.



In this role, you will:

  • Work as a member of the People Technology and Analytics team, building the data, insight, and stories that drive our HR business.
  • Utilize your extraordinary reporting skills to establish trends that provide a ‘look around the corner’.
  • Develop and deliver key reporting and analytical support for the HR organization and people managers, particularly focused on creating robust self-service reporting capability in Workday and Tableau.
  • Provide training on self-service capability for HR and Managers when needed.
  • Build transparency and measurement into the HR function as a whole - ensuring that we work efficiently, effectively and properly prioritize.
  • Partner effectively with stakeholders in Finance, IT, Facilities and other areas on cross-functional initiatives (e.g., remote-world readiness) and drive strong people insight throughout the company.
  • Serve as a steward of an appropriately accessible, data-driven, agile culture within our People Team organization.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or comparable work experience
  • 5+  years of experience in an analytics/reporting role, HR analytics experience is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence and Visualization tools, such as Tableau, Workday Prism/People Analytics, and/or Business Objects
  • Strong experience extracting and interacting with data from multiple sources including Workday, Greenhouse, SQL databases and Snowflake
  • The ability to build strong partnerships in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches
  • Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
