About the opportunity:
If you are passionate about making a difference, we are looking for an Area Vice President Sales, Central/Mountain. This role includes direct responsibility for all sales activities for the defined Sales Area with our Centinel Spine product portfolio. This includes hiring, coaching and developing the Area sales team, engaging with customers to create demand for Centinel Spine products and managing and directing resources appropriately to achieve the Area sales goals annually. This leadership position is in partnership with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations and shared commercial support functions.
Most importantly, this leader reside in the Central/Mountain area and will ensure achievement of sales and profit targets for U.S. medical devices, by overseeing the direction of sales and business activities within the Area. This individual will also ensure a culture across the sales organization that aligns to our code of conduct and business objectives. This position reports to the Vice President, U.S. Sales.

- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
- Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
- Manage the Area’s sales team, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth.
- Manage the use of budgets & forecasts.
- Execute optimal sales force structure.
- Hire and develop sales team.
- Coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives for both Region Managers and Distributors.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Execute sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
- Maximize infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
- Work closely with the marketing, engineering, operations, and customer service. functions to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Interface with Quality as required in complaint handling, recalls / advisory notices and other quality management system / regulatory requirements.
- Performs other related responsibilities as necessary.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related.
- 3-5 years in musculoskeletal device industry.
- Minimum of 3 years in the spinal device industry preferred.
- Management experience preferred but not required.
- Strategic results driven leader with a customer focus.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving analysis
- Proven ability to develop and manage talent and lead teams.
- Excellent communication across all levels of an organization.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM, and PowerPoint) required.
Where you will go:
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships.
- Travel to meetings, tradeshows, training programs, etc. as needed.
