About the opportunity:
If you are passionate about making a difference, we are looking for a Senior Director Business Development & Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales. We are targeting candidates located in Australia or Singapore. This role will provide financial and strategic analysis to support executive decision-making, manage reporting, oversee commercial and team operations in the APAC region. This role reports to the Vice President, International.
Where you will make an impact:
- Work with the Vice President, International to establish business development objectives and strategic sales goals that drive market and revenue growth.
- Analyze complex financial data to determine past financial performance.
- Develop business plans and industry reports that generate sales projections.
- Develop narrative and statistical reports for trend analysis.
- Prepare materials for strategic initiatives and advise on key business decisions.
- Lead and communicate goals and objectives for the region.
- Stay abreast of laws and regulations that apply to the business and inform key stakeholders of the changes.
- Oversee and manage the Commercial Director, APAC Sales, sales agents and distributor partners.
What you will bring:
- BA/BS degree in Engineering or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years sales background in the spine industry required.
- Experience in management of agents and distributors.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with common software programs such a Microsoft Office is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing a multicultural team.
Where you will go:
- The APAC region includes Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.
- Up to 75% travel within the region.
