About the opportunity:

If you are passionate about making a difference, we are looking for a District Sales Manager, Northeast, residing in the New York or Boston area, responsible for supporting strategic sales initiatives and build relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and distributors in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Surgery Center market. This field-based position interacts with internal and external personnel to plan, coordinate, and execute a cross-functional strategy to exceed growth goals. The role reports to the area Regional Sales Manager.

 

Where you will make an impact:

  • Interface with Quality as required in complaint handling, recalls / advisory notices, and other quality management system / regulatory requirements.
  • Work directly with RSM to create strategic targets for the region while being the lead manager for key targets to include:
    • Hospital and Surgery Center Targets
    • Surgeon Targets
    • Distributor Targets
  • Drive initial contact, introductions, sales strategy and implementation of products and finalization of contract.
  • Responsible for onboarding and training new distributors and surgeons throughout the region.
  • Establish relationships with key surgeons and key accounts.
  • Assist with case coverage and OR interaction as needed with New Surgeons and Distributors.
  • Field contact for applicable new surgeons in region that complete initial first case with Centinel Spine. Follow-up with surgeon, distributor and RSM to support the next 3-5 cases to drive long standing customer relationship.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • This is a customer-facing position that requires travel within the region, some overnight travel for training and meetings.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years in musculoskeletal device industry, with 3+ years in spinal devices preferred.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Experience in using a computer required. Familiarity with common software programs (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Experience selling / managing in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC).
  • Experience and Knowledge around National GPO’s (Group Purchasing Organization’s), IDN’s (Integrated Delivery Network’s) and Health systems.
  • Contracting experience and knowledge around National GPO’s, IDN’s, Health Systems, Acute Care facilities and ASCs.

 

Where you will go:

  • Remote field-based position. 
  • Candidate will be based in the Northeast, preferably New York or Boston area. 
  • Travel within territory, including overnight travel.
