As Merchandising Analyst at ADAY, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing our product to maximize our revenue and profits.

You will utilize sales, inventory, and a variety of other data to build models and spreadsheets to assess and determine future inventory buys and creatively come up with ideas for existing inventory. You will focus on key merchandising KPIs such as demand, launch performance, inventory turns, stock plans, inventory ageing and discounting. You will also be responsible for closely collaborating with the product team to deliver the most optimal product make-up at the right quantities. You will report to ADAY’s Head of Product, drive merchandising and inventory strategy, and take responsibility for our buying and inventory spend. You will constantly push yourself and the team to do better: better merchandising KPIs, better better analysis, better product and better ideas! :)

In a “typical” week, you will utilize company data to perform analysis, monitor and update the team on product performance, come up with new ideas, make strategic recommendations and manage inventory. You will collaborate with our production manager on any changes on lead times, fabric and production availability and day-to-day supply chain management. You may be working on a product launch of our new Scuba sweatshirts or a Black Friday sale - and closely collaborate with the rest of the team.

In a “typical” month, you will perform in-depth analysis, improve our merchandising and planning, launch new exciting projects, and contribute to investor and Board updates.

In a “typical” quarter, you may also be working on totally different projects such as hiring, a marketing collaboration or a diversity project. We love cross-functional initiative!

You will closely collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Design, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, ADAY’s co-founders, and pretty much all teams at ADAY.

No role in a start-up is ever typical which means that your role will continue to evolve as our company does too!
