Your mission:
The Director of Career Services will direct and manage the career services team as it assists all student and employer clients in the development of career education, career identification and search, and pursuit of employment opportunities.

How you will do this:
Serves as the primary liaison between the management team, students and alumni, all career coaches and other NexGenT teams.
Responsible for fiscal planning and management for career services, including all operations and staffing matters.
Constantly monitors, analyzes, and evaluates current scope of services offered through career services and plans, implements, and directs new programs in coordination with other directors and student activities efforts. Works with team to continually test and improve processes and services.
Provides career advising expertise to students and alumni regarding the job-search process, interviewing, resume, and letter writing, and all other facets of career planning. Conducts workshops, seminars, and other presentations to students, internal team members, employers, and alumni groups.
Facilitates weekly group and 1:1 meetings with the career service team, management team and other meetings as necessary.
Responsible for outcomes reporting and tracking team KPIs and quarterly OKRs.
As needed, review students resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, interview practice, and job success plans and provide personal feedback to help students land their dream jobs
Design, develop, update, and deliver a variety of personal development and career-related workshops ors, covering all aspects of career development, job search strategies, and effective career planning management for student job success
Gather and maintain student documentation and data through Hubspot CRM, emails, phone calls, spreadsheets, and surveys
Level of technical/professional knowledge and key skills needed to be successful:
Experience in, job placement, advising and career services or related environment, and exposure to working with diverse populations.
Ability to recognize at-risk students and work to provide support to ensure student retention.
Great computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs, sheets, and presentations.
Preferred: Knowledge of working with Hubspot, Zapier, Typeform, Slack and Google Suite
