The Opportunity

ByteChek is looking for a resourceful, ambitious, and confident marketer to join our Marketing Team. We are a lean, fast-moving team operating with creativity, courage,  and a “speed and experiments” mindset.

You'll work directly with our Chief Marketing Officer, and collaborate with our product, customer, and sales teams to help achieve our growth goals. You'll have a tremendous amount of flexibility and autonomy, so you are self-motivated, organized, and accountable.

You have some prior marketing experience, but experience is second in importance to your creative ideas and collaborative mentality. You’ll be asked to develop a marketing plan to pitch during the interview process, allowing you to 'show' versus only 'telling' us why you're the right individual for this role. 

We are currently hiring remotely within the United States, and are not able to support VISA sponsorship at this time.

What you can do for ByteChek

  • Research, pitch, and implement marketing campaigns to the Chief Marketing Officer

  • Collaborate with the sales teams to grow pipeline + arm them with marketing materials

  • Collaborate with the product team to announce new features, integrations, and improvements

  • Continuously experiment, implement, and optimize marketing initiatives

  • Assist in building our email segmentation and automation

  • Identify, develop, and optimize growth channels to drive revenues growth

  • Analyze marketing data and user feedback (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

  • Testing: Run experiments and provide data-driven, analytically rigorous insights to test different channels and iterate on our marketing strategy

  • You have a high level of interpersonal, written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • You’re a relationship builder, who is passionate about understanding people and their needs

  • You have intermediate design experience - you can use Canva or other design programs to quickly generate content for campaigns

  • You have strong writing skills, and can run point on copywriting

  • You have experience with digital marketing toolsets - from email marketing to working with sales to track prospect engagement

  • You are analytical and hypothesis-driven

  • You have experience utilizing paid acquisition platforms such as Google AdWords, YouTube, Facebook Ad Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ad Marketplace, etc.

  • You have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • You are a marketing generalist who has a deep understanding of every channel and how they play into the marketing mix — from paid marketing like performance, SEM, and PR to organic like emails, influencers, and SEO

  • You have experience working for a SaaSp

  • You have a strong growth track record

  • Your comfort working remotely and asynchronously and your strong time management habits

  • You care about and incorporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into your work projects

  • Bonus if you have a deep understanding of online UX, consumer psychology, digital marketing principles, and strategy

  • Bonus if you have experience using SEMRush, Ahrefs, and/or Hubspot

  • Bonus if you have experience using several different marketing tools


Salary: $90,000 - 120,000
