Sr. Process Engineer
The Sr. ProcessEngineer will bring their high energy, ownership, integrity, and accountability and will drive all aspects of designing, developing, and testing new products, as well as improving existing ones, by overseeing the entire product development cycle from concept generation to manufacturing, ensuring products meet customer needs and are produced efficiently, often collaborating with design teams, sales, and marketing to understand market trends and customer requirements to ensure alignment with product strategy and customer expectations.
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in maturing a product from development phase through manufacturing delivery
- Solve a variety of problems demonstrating breadth in application

- Oversee quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to meet safety and quality standards.
- Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of product designs and identify areas for optimization.
- Work closely with design teams, sales, marketing, and other engineers to ensure alignment with product strategy and customer expectations.
- Create detailed SOP, technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
- Conduct rigorous testing on prototypes and finished products to identify and address design flaws.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage projects within timelines and budget constraints
- Vendor technical management experience
- Demonstrated experience assembling and testing hardware
- Understanding of equipment hardware and process verification and validation process
- Familiarity with common hardware and software compatibility testing
- Work with other product engineers, manufacturing, quality organizations, and vendors to ensure a smooth product launch and sustainability.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or material engineering. MS degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering, design for manufacturability, and assembly experience
- Ability to effectively communicate concepts and write technical documents
- Experience with full lifecycle and proficiency at completing tasks to meet milestones
- Experience evaluating design, performance, and logistical tradeoffs for hardware systems
- Experience in automation and/or robotic design
- Experience leading product enhancements that improve the performance of existing products
- Must be detail-oriented to review drawings and/or document revisions
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Manufacturing environment knowledge including ERP/MRP/Arena
- Highly organized team player with excellent time management skills.
- Experience in Six Sigma and ISO 9001 training is a plus.
