NetSuite Solution Architect – Operations

 

The Vested Group is seeking an experienced NetSuite Solution Architect with deep expertise in Operations, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Management to lead complex ERP transformation initiatives for our clients. This role is responsible for designing scalable, maintainable NetSuite solutions that align business processes with industry best practices across manufacturing, distribution, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong functional and technical NetSuite expertise with excellent consulting, communication, and leadership skills. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring internal teams and contributing to the continued growth of our Operations practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client discovery and solution design sessions to understand operational goals, business requirements, and process challenges, translating them into scalable NetSuite solutions across manufacturing, warehouse management, inventory, procurement, fulfillment, and supply chain operations.
  • Provide strategic advisory services and NetSuite best practice guidance across manufacturing, distribution, warehouse operations, and ERP process optimization while balancing customization, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Design and document functional solution architectures, business process flows, gap analyses, and configuration strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and third-party solution providers to successfully deliver integrated business solutions
  • Support and participate in solution demonstrations, proof-of-concept exercises, and estimation activities for prospective and active engagements
  • Mentor and coach consultants and junior team members from both a functional and consulting perspective
  • Provide leadership throughout implementation lifecycle activities including solution validation, testing strategy, issue resolution, deployment planning, and hypercare support
  • Stay current on emerging NetSuite capabilities, SuiteApps, and manufacturing/distribution trends to proactively recommend process improvements and future enhancements
  • Leverage AI-powered tools, automation, and emerging technologies to improve solution design, testing, documentation, and project delivery efficiency while identifying opportunities to drive productivity, operational insights, and scalable client solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, operational management, and technical teams
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives, internal process improvements, and organizational growth strategies

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite implementation and solution architecture experience
  • Strong experience designing and configuring NetSuite solutions within Advanced Manufacturing, WIP & Routings, BOMs & Assemblies, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (WMS), Supply Planning / MRP, Procurement & Purchasing, Demand Planning & Forecasting, and Order Management & Fulfillment
  • Experience supporting warehouse and manufacturing operational workflows including production planning, shop floor execution, inventory control, cycle counting, barcode/RF scanning solutions, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational impacts across inventory, costing, procurement, manufacturing, and fulfillment processes
  • Experience leading requirements workshops, business process design sessions, and solution architecture discussions
  • Experience creating and executing testing strategies including test plans, test scripts, UAT coordination, and solution validation
  • Familiarity with NetSuite technical capabilities including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, Integrations, and Reporting & Analytics
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Operations industries
  • Experience with RF-SMART, mobile warehouse solutions, EDI, or third-party logistics integrations
  • NetSuite certifications preferred
  • Experience with multi-subsidiary, multi-location, or complex operational environments
  • Consulting experience within a professional services or ERP implementation organization
