Job Summary
Organization of auxiliary materials, packaging, labeling, and documentation, according to quality and hygiene requirements, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
To assist the Lead Operator with daily tasks including duties involving lift heavy objects (55 lbs.) bags/boxes regularly and work in height, and forklift operation aligned and mindful of safety requirements.
Responsibilities
· Assists and operates extruder line according to work instructions and standardized operational procedures.
· Assists machine operators with setup and operations of the production line.
· Aid Machine Operators in repairing and maintenance tasks.
· Assists machine operators in material staging.
· Production area cleaning duties. Keep work space and equipment duly cleaned and maintained.
· Perform tasks of packaging, palletizing and stretching of finished product.
· Perform tasks of blending and preparation of raw materials.
· Perform tasks of reception and dispatch of raw materials and finished product.
· Execution of monthly inventory.
Job Qualification
GED or High School Diploma required.
· Ability to perform basic math skills such as add/subtract/multiply/divide/percentage calculation.
· Experience in manufacturing using automated equipment, preferred.
Technical Skills
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Office applications, preferred.
· Knowledge of safe work practices and OSHA standards preferred.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Organized, thorough, and precise in conducting tasks.
· Willing and able to obtain additional qualifications and training.
· Willingness to learn and be coachable, concerning all job responsibilities.
