Zartico’s mission is to empower DMOs to be better stewards of the world’s tourist destinations through improved data intelligence and decision-making. Makers of the first Destination Operating System, Zartico harnesses and streamlines complex data to provide a full-spectrum of data science, benchmarking and analytical services for use in marketing, community development and sustainability efforts. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Zartico has over thirty years of experience in technology, tourism, and destination, travel and tourism marketing.

We’re looking for a thoughtful, enthusiastic and strategic User Community Manager to join the Zartico team. Your mission will be to empower destination marketing organizations to be better stewards of the world's tourist destinations through improved data intelligence and decision-making by being one of the product education team members responsible for the success of our product adoption.


Reporting to the Senior Product Education Manager, you will join the Product team and will be responsible for developing the Zartico User Community to support the ongoing adoption of our Destination Operating System. You’ll be responsible for building, growing, nurturing, and managing our customer education-focused online community.



What you'll do...

  • Collaborate with the Product Education team and business stakeholders to  perform community management and educational content around the Zartico Destination Operating System®.

  • Be responsible for fostering a sense of community around our product by actively engaging with the audience by monitoring the key needs for engagement around product adoption

  • Optimize our digital community for success, and grow it to the point where it can evolve to the next level

  • Elevate the quality of online discussions around the product, as well as sustain meaningful relationships with the audience. 

  • Uphold Zartico’s image, brand standards, and tone online.

  • Make sure that all the information displayed on the community page is relevant and up-to-date and double-check that there are no discrepancies between the product, website, and the knowledge base in terms of information.

  • GROW the user community from beginning stages into a vibrant and helpful place for users to get valuable information and engagement from Zartico and fellow users.

  • Work with the Senior Product Education Manager to collaboratively to develop the user community content and strategy from within the Product Education content calendar

  • Create engaging and shareable content

  • Provide community feedback to the management and stakeholders.

  • Learning and growing from online community development in other industries to bring those innovations to educate and guide the organization in evolving user community best practices.

  • Engage with users directly in live training events.

  • Aid in planning and execution of user community initiatives and programs, including development of user community events and conferences.


What you’ll bring..

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience

  • Previous experience or awareness of software development and/or support and knowledge of Agile development models and project management tools

  • Experience moderating an online user community

  • Ability to develop creative, engaging and original content

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with computers, social media outlets and analytical platforms 

  • A strong knowledge of common social media and online marketing trends to create a a flow of content that matches the voice and behaviors of many users on those outlets. 

  • Training experience is a plus

  • Proven ability to independently manage several projects simultaneously and operate successfully under tight deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity - you’re driven to understand things deeply, aren’t afraid of asking questions, and love to tackle big problems

  • An attention to detail - you know the devil is in the details and that understanding all the aspects and dependencies of any given project will allow you to drive the best results 

  • A collaborative attitude - you’re excited to be working with people from across the entire organization and are able to navigate different teams with varying objectives and priorities
