Zartico’s mission is to empower DMOs to be better stewards of the world’s tourist destinations through improved data intelligence and decision-making. Makers of the first Destination Operating System, Zartico harnesses and streamlines complex data to provide a full-spectrum of data science, benchmarking and analytical services for use in marketing, community development and sustainability efforts. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Zartico has over thirty years of experience in technology, tourism, and destination, travel and tourism marketing.
As a technical support engineer on the core product team you'll provide intelligence to the rest of the company that will enable making better product decisions. You'll be the first point of contact for technical support issues and day to day operational activities. You’ll work with world-class engineers from the product team to enable data-driven products and insights at Zartico.
What You’ll Do:
Help build out our support organization and implement processes and procedures to streamline, measure, and stabilize our operations.
Maintain and support a data infrastructure that is able to ingest and transform data at scale coming from many different sources, different customers, and in many different varieties.
Support the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources and support robust data pipelines that collect, process, and compute business metrics from activity data.
Support critical datasets for machine learning, growth funnels, business forecasting, and many other strategic initiatives.
2+ Years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer
Fluency in SQL and a programming language
A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
Quick learner - we face new challenges every day
Expert in coding -we develop real products
Experience in Python, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GoogleCloud Storage), Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), and JIRA bug tracking
Experience with data visualizations
Hubspot Service experience
Education and Certifications:
BA/BS in a quantitative or computer science field
