Account Executive, Tourism Sales
Job Summary
As an Account Executive, Tourism Sales, you will lead strategic sales efforts for growth and marketing performance products in the travel and entertainment industries. You will represent Zartico sales across a broader regional or national territory, selling Zartico’s core Operating System (ZDOS), Digital Campaign Optimization (DCO), and ancillary products. You’ll be responsible for expanding Zartico’s customer base, and managing sales cycles, alongside the Go-To-Market (GTM) team. The ideal candidate will be based in Central/Mountain/Mountain West.
This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with marketing performance knowledge, and a focus on results. Strong sales process skills, collaborative skills, accountability, ownership, and passion for helping place-based marketers harness data to drive ROI and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth

Represent Zartico’s strategic sales efforts for Zartico’s performance product lines.

Manage and grow revenue across a larger, high-value territory.

Be accountable for quota, lead nurturing, opportunity identification, and the sales cycle.

Demonstrate deep product knowledge to ensure product capabilities demonstrate value and exceed client goals for a long-lasting relationship and expansion.

Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with Destination Marketing Organizations, sports, and entertainment organizations.

Work in partnership with CSMs to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Support and facilitate the renewal process alongside the client success team.

Contribute to the evolution of Zartico’s pitch and value proposition in competitive sales environments.

Represent Zartico at key industry events, conferences, and customer board meetings.

Serve as a trusted sales advisor within the MarTech industry, shifting perceptions and educating audiences about the value of Zartico’s insights and measurement capabilities.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to ensure alignment and feedback from the field.

Provide input into strategic sales planning and forecasting, informed by on-the-ground market intelligence.
Sales Metrics You’ll Be Measured On

Net-New ARR Closed: $1M–$2M+ annually

Sales Cycle Duration: < 45 days from first meeting to close

Pipeline Coverage: 3–4x pipeline coverage of quarterly targets

Team Ramp & Productivity: Team members hitting quota within 120 days of onboarding
Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales, preferably in data solutions, MarTech, SaaS industry.

Strong CRM experience with Hubspot preference.

Deep understanding of marketing or similar platforms, and the ability to educate prospects and clients on practical applications.

Proven success managing full sales cycles and negotiating high-value contracts.

Strong understanding of industry trends and competitive positioning in the tourism, data, or media ecosystem.

Ability to travel 25–50% of the time to meet clients and represent Zartico at events.

Nice to have: Experience working with or selling to public sector, government, or tourism-focused organizations as well as private sector businesses

Strong familiarity with digital marketing, media attribution, or performance measurement tools.
