Requirements:

Hard Skills

  • B.S. in chemistry, biology or related scientific discipline. This education can be substituted by an associate degree and 3+ years occupying a comparable position.
  • Technical writing of SOPs, work instructions, and reports.
  • Basic computer literacy: Microsoft Word and Excel, and use of printers and scanners, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience on:
    • Conducting sampling and inspection of ingredients, packaging components, and finished product.
    • Preparing testing samples and associated process paperwork.
    • Using the following equipment: pH meter, viscometer, moisture analyzer, FTIR, and microscope.
    • Performing specific gravity measurements, environmental monitoring, and microbiology testing.
    • Conducting batch record review.
    • Supporting the Document Control function.
    • Following written instructions and established processes to carry out routine tasks.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a GMP environment.
  • Technical writing of SOPs, work instructions, and reports.
  • Basic computer literacy: Microsoft Word and Excel, and use of printers and scanners, or equivalent.

While working, only 15% of the time corresponds to conducting lab activities. This position requires a significant amount of walking. This position offers the ability to grow professionally by learning and doing. No relocation assistance is provided at this time.
