About Elevate Prize Foundation:
Founded by Joseph Deitch in 2019, the Elevate Prize Foundation is a global nonprofit on a mission to Make Good Famous. To ensure lasting impact, the organization is committed to bringing visibility to the work of changemakers, creating a fanbase for good, and inspiring action on an international scale.
Currently, the Elevate Prize Foundation has 3 main initiatives:
1. The Elevate Prize: Awarded annually, the Prize recognizes ten best-in-class social impact leaders driving change around the world. It’s designed to maximize their impact, champion their organization, and to shift the culture to help create a world where more people are inspired to take action.
2. The Elevate Prize Catalyst Award: The award recognizes prominent individuals who use their influence to drive social action, providing $250,000 in unrestricted funding to deepen their impact and an additional investment put towards a content partnership to further inspire and catalyze change. To date, recipients include Trevor Noah, George and Amal Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Michael J. Fox, Matt Damon and, most recently, NBA Hall of Famer and entrepreneur, Dwyane Wade.
3. The Elevate Prize Get Loud Award: The Elevate GET LOUD Award is a monthly grant fueling community-based movements and organizers on the frontlines committed to collective action and building power among communities. Instagram-based and with nominations open to the public, the award is disrupting the traditional philanthropic model and democratizing change.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, we are seeking a full-time creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team at the Elevate Prize Foundation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in social media strategy, content creation, and analytics, with experience across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position is responsible for crafting and executing innovative social media content that take our social media presence to the next level, while elevating our mission and amplifying the voices of our social entrepreneurs.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a cross-platform, comprehensive social media strategy that increases visibility and drives engagement for the foundation's mission, programs and initiatives.

Design cross-platform, creative, and integrated campaigns that assertively grow the following and engagement on each.

Create thumb-stopping, high-quality content — including videos — tailored to each platform, cutting through the noise on social and showcasing our brand, as well as the work of our prize winners and their contributions to social change.

Manage community engagement across all social media channels, fostering conversations and building relationships with our audience.

Collaborate with external designers, editors, copywriters as well as the full Marketing team to drive and create best–in-class content.

Continuously identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and content that resonate with our audience and drive our mission forward.

Build and cultivate exciting strategic partnerships, including with influencers and content platforms.

Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, utilizing insights to refine strategies and optimize engagement, as well as deliver continuous learnings and data to the wider team

Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s mission and maximizing impact.

Collaborate with the wider marketing and communications team to ensure brand consistency and cohesive messaging across all channels.

Continuously monitor and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices across social media and digital marketing and help develop creative ways to bring social impact into mainstream culture.

Train and support team members and our winners in social media best practices and content creation.

Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the nonprofit or social impact space or at an agency.

Obsessed with pop culture, this person needs to live and breathe trends and social media while also having a deep understanding of the news and world issues.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns and content across multiple platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.

Strong understanding of using data to continuously inform content choices, as well as leading on social media analytics and experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.

Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite),familiarity with video content production and strong ability to direct and collaborate with designers and editors.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A combination of right brain / left brain! A creative thinker with a passion for data, problem-solving, and a commitment to advancing social impact.

A true collaborator that is comfortable working with multiple team members on a daily basis.
This position can be located in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, or potentially remote/hybrid. This position is considered Exempt for FLSA purposes.
