Overview

As an essential part of the program team, the Program Manager will be responsible for key deliverables across Elevate Prize Foundation programs. They will work closely with the Program Director on the implementation of the department’s strategy as it relates to the Elevate Prize GET LOUD Award and CNN Heroes program. This role will serve as the key relationship manager and point of contact for our annual cohort of winners from both programs. This position reports to the Program Director and is based in Miami, FL, with the potential of being remote for the right candidate.

 

The Program Manager will play an essential role in the creation and implementation of the professional development program for both the CNN Heroes and GET LOUD winners helping to identify and design specific learning opportunities; engaging a network of coaches, mentors, and facilitators; creating opportunities for winners to engage with the larger Elevate Prize community; coordinating winners’ participation in online trainings, content development, and in-person convenings. In addition, the Program Manager will play a key role in the monthly selection of GET LOUD winners.

 

Job Description

  • GET LOUD Award Selection Process:
    • Collaborate with key staff to identify monthly themes for the GET LOUD Award
    • Coordinate with the Marketing team to promote the launch of each monthly award cycle in an effort to reach a global and diverse audience
    • Design and deliver a seamless vetting and selection process
    • Manage the grant agreement process in coordination with the Operations team utilizing Fluxx grant management system
    • Manage and respond to inbound queries from organizations interested in the GET LOUD award
  • GET LOUD + CNN Heroes Program Implementation:
    • Work with Program Director to formalize and build out the design of the professional development program, including content development, timeline, and scheduling
    • Collaborate across departments to identify and deliver programming for in-person trainings and events
    • Coordinate instructor/facilitator participation in virtual programming sessions, including content development support, preparing and disseminating advance materials, and ensuring technology readiness
    • Manage travel support and logistics for winner participation at events
    • Assemble and coordinate delivery of materials for winner participation in all events and convenings
    • Conduct regular communication and check-ins with winners, faculty, and other stakeholders throughout the program,
    • Prepare reports for staff reflecting winners’ work and program engagement
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Support the expansion of the Get Loud brand and programming as needed
    • Manage and maintain the program department’s database of contacts, relationships, and vendors, ensuring accurate data and records
    • Support the Program Director in the design and delivery of other programs as needed
    • Other duties and projects as assigned

The ideal candidate will, at the minimum, have:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in the non-profit and/or social impact space
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Meticulous organization and project management skills including experience with project management and grants management systems.
