Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative college student to join our team as a Marketing Student Assistant. This role offers hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, supporting community engagement efforts, and contributing to brand growth. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to gain real-world experience in a dynamic environment. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with a hybrid work schedule consisting of two(2) on-site days and three(3) remote days per week, requiring up to 10 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.

Create and schedule content for social media platforms.

Support event promotion, outreach, and community engagement initiatives.

Conduct market research and analyze trends to support strategic decisions.

Help develop marketing materials including flyers, presentations, and email campaigns.

Track and report on campaign performance metrics.

Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Currently enrolled in a college or university (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is a plus.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with event planning or community outreach.

Interest in public service, local government, or community-based initiatives.

Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights, etc.).
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Job duties typically performed in an office environment. Physical demands may include lifting up to 40lbs, bending, and sitting. The employee is occasionally required to sit or stand for long periods.
