Position Overview: 

 

Are you passionate about the Class of 2026 legacy? Do you want to build your professional network while making a tangible impact on our campus? We are looking for energetic, persuasive, and community-minded student leaders to join our team as Class Gift Ambassadors leading the $20.26 for 2026 campaign.  

 

In this role, you will be the "face" of the graduating classes' giving campaign, helping your peers understand the power of collective philanthropy and encouraging them to leave their mark before graduation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Peer-to-Peer Solicitation: Reach out to classmates via social media, email, and in-person interactions to encourage participation in the Class of 2026 Gift. 

  • Event Support: Assist in staffing "giving tables" at high-traffic campus locations and representing the campaign at graduation events. 

  • Messaging & Advocacy: Articulate the importance of giving back and explain how donor contributions directly benefit the university’s future students. 

  • Data Management: Track outreach efforts and ensure donors feel appreciated through personalized thank-you messages. 

  • Social Media Management: 

○ Create engaging content, including copy, images, and videos, to drive engagement and grow our online presence across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn.  

○ Collaborate with team members to develop content calendars and ensure consistent posting schedules. 



Qualifications: 

 

Education: 

 

  • Class Standing: Must be a member of the  SFBU Class of 2026. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills; you should be comfortable "making the ask" and strike a balance between professional and relatable. 

  • School Spirit: A genuine love for our campus community and a desire to see it thrive.  Reliability: Ability to work independently and manage a small weekly time commitment effectively. 

 

Skills and Abilities: 

 

  • Strong writing and communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), Basic graphic design skills, and familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

 

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
