We are currently recruiting for an Oracle WMS Cloud Consultant to work onsite at our Santa Clara, California office. This is a one-year contract with possible extension.
The ideal candidate will be working primarily within the Oracle WMS Cloud platform and must have prior experience implementing same. The Consultant serves as a senior, internal consultant and advisor between the client and technology group for Order to Fulfillment and WMS Cloud functions. The consultant will plan, conduct and direct the analysis of complex, company-wide, business problems relating to systems.

The Techno Functional Consultant serves our customers and:
Provides strategic and technical guidance to identify, evaluate and develop systems or automated processes.
Applying knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change. Transforming strategic company architecture and design principles into specific systems requirements and specifications.
Resolving solutions that meet business requirements and are cost effective. Preparing specifications for system changes.
Recommending and initiating systems testing.
Re-engineering technical processes and systems for greater efficiencies with positive impact to business operation.
Responsibilities:
Implement, conduct change management, design testing and training to enable adoption of WMS Cloud.
Consulting as a functional lead to assist and advise in WMS Cloud implementations.
Create customized solutions to improve flow, process improvement and client productivity.
Design testing and integration of Oracle WMS Cloud a must and is required.
Optimize supply chain systems and act as a liaison working to make functional requirements into process efficiencies, responsible for taking care of all production issues, projects, and enhancements in areas like: Warehouse Operations, Inbound and Outbound, Picking and Put-away rules, Cross Docking, Telnet receiving, Zone picking and strategies, Label Printing, Warehouse Control Board, Cartonization, and Mobile Supply Chain Applications.
Drive and execute testing phases during the project lifecycle.
Working with Project Lead/Project Manager on various functional and delivery aspects.
Collaborate with Oracle, customers, third party vendors and support functions for day-to-day issues/requirements.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience creating, analyzing, and configuration of Oracle Cloud software.
Oracle WMS Cloud, Oracle Inventory, Oracle Purchasing and Order Management implementation and support are a must.
Desired Knowledge:
Implementation and support experience in Oracle WMS Cloud/ SCM Modules, and strong understanding in application integration within Oracle EBS and with Third Party Systems.
Expert in the Oracle Order Management modules (OM, Shipping, Advance pricing, EDI).
Understanding of Order Entry, Order Booking, Pick Release, Ship Confirm, and Invoicing.
Understanding of third-party shipping integrations, integration of order management and inventory modules with third party systems, third party WMS tools, interfaces between multiple Oracle and third-party systems.
Productive knowledge of Oracle WMS Cloud, EBS and Oracle systems. Competent in both oral and written communication are a MUST.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to proactively multitask in an agile environment.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Experience with WMS Cloud systems. Knowledge of the interaction between WMS applications with Oracle EBS Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, ASCP, and Logistics Applications.
Functional experience in MFG (BOM, WIP) Inventory Planning along with strong MRP, MPS, Forecast and ASCP planning experience.
Functional experience in handling Depot Repair process, serial transfers, repair service requests, and repair resolution management.
Excellent knowledge and experience in Oracle Order Management Integration with third party Order Entry applications.
Through understanding of integration of Oracle Shipping with third party systems using Oracle XML Gateway and Oracle transport agent.
Experience with Oracle MSCA functionality and supporting handheld devices usage in a warehouse environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to proactively multitask in an agile environment.
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of configuration, techno-functional data management experience.
5-10 years of experience/exposure to Oracle WMS EBS/Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist.
This is a full-time contractor position; anticipated to last 12 months and employee must work onsite at our Santa Clara facility 5 days per week.
