The Contracts Specialist is a professional within the Gaea Global organization responsible for the management of contracts, including approval and any necessary changes that may be needed over the course of the contract.  

This role demands dynamic and extraordinary articulation for delivering best practices.

The Contracts Specialist works with and is responsible for detailed accuracy and compliance in such areas of: 

New Build Contracts
Design Contracts
Operation/Vendor Contracts
Auditing for Compliance
Third Party Consulting Contracts
Execution and Delivery of Related Reports (Sharepoint/P6/Unifier preferred)
Contract Amendments
Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in business, administration, or law required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of five years progressive responsibility in contract management, business administration, or other relevant experience. 
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Visio.
Ability to establish and meet project objectives within designated constraints.
Comfortable working as an individual contributor and team player.
Provide end to end commercial and contract management support for Project dates alignment, Request for proposal (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), contract execution, change order management, and contract closeout; guaranteeing that all agreements are executed before project/service commencement.
Negotiate firm, fair, and consistent agreements for Gaea Global and other Contractors.
Quickly respond and adapt to signals from stakeholders while leveraging contractual terms and Contractor allocation strategies.
When required liaise and maintain strong relationships with client Legal Attorneys to expedite contract review, re-visioning, and processing. 
Adapt and conform to Gaea and clients' legal review/re-visioning criteria. 
Perform commercial awareness training  to client site teams.
Plan and Coordinate with stakeholders the execution of contracts and RFPs, based on required delivery milestones.
Coordinate cross functionally, ensuring all stakeholder’s current and future needs are captured and incorporated into appropriate systems and documentation.
Request for Proposals.
Lead and coordinate RFP activities, including preparation of bid packages,  negotiation, and award/non-award notices. 
Request for Qualifications.
Coordinate all RFQ initiatives acting as the main point of contact for client site.
Contact and submit pre-qualification questionnaires and follow up on responses.
Contract Execution.
Draft and coordinate contract revisions during the execution lifecycle, using the appropriate contract templates.
Oversee contract drafting and re-visioning until documents are fully executed.
Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally.
Uniformly package and communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.
Change Order Management.
Manage contractual change orders and amendments execution, following established thresholds and templates.
Work closely with site teams to capture changes using legal-acceptable  language.
Project Closeout.
Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as required.
Reporting.
Forecast and maintain the Contract Workflow Tracker.
Develop, maintain, and distribute status reports with applicable tracking metrics (e.g. cycle time, workable backlog, outstanding actions, etc.)
Template re-visioning.
Maintain contractual document repository population and access.
Collect and database insurance and bonding requirements.
