Gaea Global Technologies Inc., a leading provider of data center and power equipment solutions is seeking a mid- to senior-level Business Analyst/Project Manager to drive the expansion of our Primavera P6 scheduling program. In this role, you will focus on gathering requirements, aligning diverse stakeholders, and leading large-scale organizational change to successfully implement new business processes, systems, and technologies. You will collaborate closely with both field and office teams to deliver a high-touch rollout of Primavera P6 and related tools. This position offers remote work flexibility with up to 25% travel (primarily to Texas) for on-site engagement. The role reports to a Program Manager within our PMO and will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure the scheduling program meets company objectives.
Responsibilities:

In this dual Business Analyst and Project Manager role, you will be responsible for:

  • Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Alignment.  Partner with project managers, field operations, and other stakeholders to capture business requirements and map them to the Primavera P6 scheduling solution.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop, define, and execute project implementation plans for the P6 program expansion – including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to the Program Manager and PMO leadership on status, issues, and achievements.
  • Business Process Implementation: Document and implement new or improved business processes related to project scheduling and controls. Work with teams to integrate Primavera P6 into their daily workflows, defining standard operating procedures and ensuring that new processes align with industry best practices.
  • Systems & Technology Deployment. Collaborate with IT and software vendors to configure and deploy Oracle Primavera P6 (including Primavera Team Member) across the organization. Ensure the application meets usability and performance requirements of end users and coordinate any necessary integrations with other systems.
  • Organizational Change Management (OCM). Lead and support large-scale OCM initiatives to drive user adoption of the new scheduling tools and processes. Develop change management plans that include stakeholder communication, training programs, user feedback loops, and support structures to ease the transition. For example, design a phased rollout strategy (starting with a pilot group and then broader deployment) to ensure a smooth adoption process.
  • Training & User Support.  Create and deliver training sessions, workshops, and user guides for both field and office teams on Primavera P6 and Team Member usage.  Provide hands-on, "high-touch" support during the rollout – including on-site assistance during initial implementation phases – to ensure users are confident and proficient with the new system.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration.  Work closely with field crews, project schedulers, construction managers, and office staff to tailor the system to real-world needs. Act as a bridge between field and corporate teams, gathering feedback from end-users and translating it into system or process enhancements. Cultivate a network of “power users” or champions in different groups to facilitate knowledge sharing and sustained adoption.
  • Quality Assurance & Improvement. Monitor system usage and data quality post-implementation. Identify any issues or resistance points and proactively drive continuous improvements. This may include refining processes, adjusting configurations, or coordinating additional training. Ensure that the scheduling program provides timely, accurate project information and adds value to project execution.
  • Reporting & Governance. Maintain oversight of scheduling program governance. Report on key rollout metrics and adoption rates to the PMO and stakeholders. Ensure that changes to the P6 configuration or processes follow proper change control and align with organizational policies. You may also contribute to developing governance documents or standards for how Primavera P6 is used across projects.
  • Travel & On-Site Engagement: Travel up to 25% to company sites in Texas (and possibly other locations as needed) to engage with project teams, conduct on-site training, and support go-live activities. During these visits, you will work directly with end-users in the field (e.g. project managers, site superintendents, installation teams) to troubleshoot issues, gather feedback, and ensure successful system adoption.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of applicable work experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or similar role; preferably within a PMO.
  • Project Management Skills.  Proven ability to develop and drive project plans, scope, schedule and resource management.  PMP Certification a plus.
  • Business Analysis Skills.  Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Change Management Acumen.  Solid understanding of organizational change management principles.
  • Communication & Leadership.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of leading meetings, delivering presentations, and facilitating discussions across all organizational levels – from field technicians to senior executives. Stakeholder management is crucial.
  • Travel Ability. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25%, primarily within Texas. Must be able to work remotely effectively and self-manage priorities, while also being able to engage in person with teams during site visits as needed.  Ability to travel on short notice may be required on occasion.

Preferred Experience and Domain Knowledge:

  • Primavera P6 Expertise, EPPM Strongly preferred.
  • Oracle's Primavera Team Member application experience preferred.
  • Construction Project Environments, specifically Data Center Builds or Power Equipment installation projects.
  • Organizational Change Management and Training.
  • Project Controls Knowledge.

NOTE:  Although work is performed from a home-based office, client(s) will require some onsite visits and due to the regulatory nature of the business, a background check and drug screen are required.
