Actfore is a fast-growing Digital Forensics and Data Mining company. We currently have an immediate job opening in our Reston, VA office for a Cyber Security Analyst – Full Time.  

This role is not eligible for teleworking or remote work due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

•        Serve as a member of a team focused on reviewing and analyzing client data post-breach

•        Aid in cyber security analytic tasks, including searching selectors in datasets, putting the results into context, and collaborating with the team to understand strategic threats/client exposure

•        Demonstrate analytical ability and the ability to handle a medium to large, semi-complex workload

•        Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and the ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal, and fixed information

•        Ability to comprehend complex and multi-source data into succinct and supportable final reports

Desired Qualifications

•        Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

•        Excellent writing and communication skills and good judgment

•        Strong time management

•        Proficiency in computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, more specifically Microsoft Excel.

•        Ability to type 60 wpm

•        Ability to enter 100 kpm on the 10-Key pad
