At DICE Therapeutics, we design and develop innovative therapies in immunology for patients with debilitating disease. Seeking to create a future where convenient oral medicines with biologic-like efficacy are available to patients with serious medical conditions, we are developing oral alternatives to medicines currently limited to injectable forms.

 

Essential Functions:

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Immunology Scientist to make critical contributions to our growing immunology pipeline. The successful candidate will join a growing team to work in a highly stimulating, multi-disciplinary environment. The individual in this position will aim to achieve the following goals:

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  •          Deliver key intellectual contributions to the identification of new opportunities for the inhibition of protein-protein interactions with small molecule drugs. 
  •          Investigate disease biology to the extent required for the identification of biomarkers that allow assessment of pharmacodynamic effects and pathway modulation. 
  •          Interact and collaborate productively with a variety of colleagues from different disciplines
  • Design, develop and execute a variety of in vitro assays in support of our small molecule efforts in a variety of immunology indications 
  •          Design, develop and execute in vivo assays to determine the pharmacodynamic effects and efficacy of our candidate molecules, either in house or through the use of external collaborators or CRO

 

Preferred Experience and Education:

 

The successful hire is an immunologist who holds a PHD with 0-4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, and has a documented record of achievements in the form of publications and/or patents. This individual possesses strong experimental skills and is capable of independently designing, executing, troubleshooting, and analyzing in vitro and in vivo studies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a proclivity to think quantitatively are also required.

 

Current US work authorization is required.

 

Salary range: 108,000 – 123,500

 

The pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including, experience, education, skillset, and geographic location. This range is for the Bay Area, California location and may be adjusted to the labor market in other geographic areas.
