Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry 

 

At DiCE Molecules SV, Inc., we design and develop innovative therapies in immunology for patients with debilitating disease. Seeking to create a future where convenient oral medicines with biologic-like efficacy are available to patients with serious medical conditions, we are developing oral alternatives to medicines currently limited to injectable forms. 

  

Job Duties: Design and synthesize small molecules to support ongoing research programs and explore their biological activities as potential drug candidates. Provide technical leadership in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry. Ensure efficient synthesis of designed molecules. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary scientists from in vitro and in vivo pharmacology, DMPK, structural biology, and computational chemistry. Coordinate project compound registration and inventory and organization of chemistry samples for bioanalysis. Synthesize and characterize in-house chemistry targets. Telecommuting permitted.

 

Education and Experience: PhD or foreign degree equivalent in Chemistry or related field plus 2 years of Research Scientist or related experience.

Salary range 103,000 – 116,000 

The pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including, experience, education, skillset, and geographic location. This range is for the Bay Area, California location and may be adjusted to the labor market in other geographic areas.
