Summary 

Technicians will install, perform start-up/commissioning, maintain, troubleshoot, document and repair a wide variety of industrial instrumentation, electronic monitoring, telecommunications, and controls. 

Installation and maintenance of industrial control systems including PLCs, RTUs, and RTACs. Installation and maintenance of telecommunication devices such as industrial radios, cellular gateways, and VSATs. Troubleshooting existing industrial control systems and telecommunication devices.

Requirements and Experience:

Knowledge of industrial control systems including PLCs, RTUs, RTACs, and telecommunication devices. Experience in oil & gas operations and industrial facilities. The ability to travel to remote locations and work on your own.

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
