This position involves working on a daily basis with our customers, in their places of business. These environments include offices, schools, universities, and industrial space.

Interface provides on-going training for all our technicians so they can continue to build on their skill sets and grow into areas of the company that interest them the most.

  • Responsible for servicing/installing security systems such as access control, video management, intrusion detection, door intercom, and other related systems and devices.

  • Communicate with security team in all aspects to complete fully functional security systems.

  • Position requires the ability to troubleshoot and program Access Control, Video Management and Intrusion Detection systems.

  • Terminating and testing of security cables and devices.

  • Helps in the installation of security associated pathways. Including, but not limited to: installing ladder rack, basket tray and or D-rings.

  • Must understand and follow company and jobsite safety rules and procedures.

  • Helps in the pulling and installation of the security cable (cat5e, cat6, cat6a, coax, and security.


  • Attention to detail and takes ownership of work.

  • Excellent driving record.

  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing results in a timely manner.

  • Professionally communicates with customers on project status and maintains professional appearance.

  • Although the majority of the company’s work will be in the greater Denver Metro area, some travel could be required from time to time. Although is it not the norm, some evening and weekend work could also be required. Must be able to lift 60lbs. and feel comfortable working on tall ladders or a lift up to 25-30 feet.

  • Certification from recognized institutions and various equipment manufacturers is preferred.


  • This position requires significant experience in the installation, programming and troubleshooting of access control, CCTV and intrusion detection systems. The vast majority of the work involves responding to customers who are experiencing problems with their installed systems. Many of these situations are critical in nature and require resolution as quickly as possible.


    • Ability to lift/carry up to 60 pounds, and to bend, kneel, crawl and climb ladders as needed.

    • A good working knowledge of special systems in general, including cable placement, termination and testing, installation of active equipment such as TV’s, amplifiers, speakers, security devices etc.

    • Experience with the use of Fluke testers, installing cable tray and equipment racks.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills, and maintaining a neat, professional appearance at all times.

    • Ability to work under pressure at times when workloads become hectic.
