Job Description:

Uses the warehouse management system to create accurate receiving, manufacturing, and shipping records. Performs quality inspections on staged products to ensure the accuracy of items being shipped and received.

Key Responsibilities:  

 

·       Create receiving, shipping, and manufacturing orders using warehouse management system.

·       Conduct regular inspections of staging zones to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.

·       Conduct inventory counts and inventory control functions as directed by the warehouse manager.  

·       Lead small teams of employees in accurately completing rework.

·       Understand and operate powered industrial trucks and mobile equipment.

·       Complete daily equipment inspection to ensure the safe functioning of mobile equipment.

·       Understand and use the warehouse management system to accurately move inventory.

·       Ability to fully complete and understand the required paperwork needed to comply with regulatory requirements.

·       Responsible for performing quality and operational checks of the finished products to ensure quality integrity. 

·       Report and correct damages and quality deficiencies.

·       Personnel must abide by all company policies and procedures.

·       Work within a team environment and help take responsibility for the efficiency of the operation.

·       Contribute to AFF’s safety culture while completing all jobs and tasks.

·       All other duties assigned at management’s discretion.

 

Position Qualifications:

 

·       Must possess strong attention to detail.

·       Must be able to pass internal powered industrial truck training including written and practical exam.

·       Prior powered industrial truck experience preferred, but not required.

·       Have the ability to understand and abide by all quality procedures and checks.          

·       Must be able to safely operate 4k-6k Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts).  

·       Ability to accurately enter data into warehouse management system using scanner and smart device

·       Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

·       Must understand basic mathematics.

·       Must have the ability to read and comprehend procedures.

·       Stand and work on feet for a long period of time.

 

Environmental Conditions:

 

·       Cold conditions with temperatures often 0 degrees on constant basis.

·       Floor is hard surface for cart mobility and occasionally slippery.

·       Hearing protection required as the noise level often exceeds 80 Decibels.
