Key Responsibilities:

·       Understand stacking patterns, basic math and pallet wrapping.

·       Understand the packing process and control of quality and integrity of the finished product.

·       Ensure the packaging line is in a “Pull” state which keeps the packaging room clear of finished product.

·       Ensure all packages are in the optimal consumer state.

·       Work within a team environment and help take responsibility for the efficiency of the operation.

·       Personnel must abide by all company policies and procedures.

·       All other duties assigned at management’s discretion.

 

Position Qualifications:

·       Have the ability to understand and abide by all quality procedures and checks.

·       Ability to lift 15 pounds repetitively.

·       Must understand basic mathematics.

·       Stand and work on feet for a long period of time and climb stairs up to equipment decks.

·       Have the ability to operate a hand palletizing jack. 

 

Environmental Conditions:

·       Cold conditions with temperatures often 35 degrees F constantly.

·       Floor is hard surface for cart mobility and occasionally slippery.

·       Hearing protection required as the noise level often exceeds 80 Decibels.
