We are a private label FROZEN fruit and vegetable packaging operation. We are operating on a 24/7 continual basis to meet customer demands and open new capacities. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic employees to join our young company to help us grow in size.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ability to read and understand Date coding on packages prior to packing to ensure proper quality.

· Ability to pack case at up to 50 Bags per minute.

· Ability to occasionally load cases into an automatic case erecting machine.

· Understand the packing process and control of quality and integrity of the finished product.

· Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the packaging room.

· Ensure the packaging line is in a “Pull” state which keeps the bagging equipment functioning at optimal levels.

· Ensure all packages and in the optimal consumer state.

· Work within a team environment and help take responsibility for the efficiency of the operation.

· Personnel must abide by all company policies and procedures.

· All other duties assigned at management’s discretion.

Position Qualifications:

· Have the ability to understand and abide by all quality procedures and company policies.

· Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally and packages up to 5 lbs on a frequent basis.

· Must understand basic mathematics.

· Stand and work on feet for a long period of time.

Environmental Conditions:

· Humid and cooler conditions with temperatures often as low as 32 degrees and averaging about 38F

· Floor is hard surface for cart mobility and occasionally slippery.

· Hearing protection required as the noise level often exceeds 80 Decibels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
