Exactly Right is looking for an Podcast Production Assistant to join the team. This role will serve to assist the production team with pre-production, production, and distribution of Exactly Right podcasts and management of Exactly Right Studio facilities.

This position reports directly to the Senior Managing Producer.

Job duties include:

Provide general support to production team for network business and productions.
Set meetings for the production team with internal staff, podcast hosts, production teams, and third party partners.
Coordinate scheduling for top network talent as it relates to podcast recordings and associated business meetings.
Quality check episodes and ads to ensure they meet network standards and pass legal clearances.
Track special guest appearances and help archive talent releases and clearance agreements.
Conduct research to support productions with content and marketing needs for images, topical research, guest info sheets, etc.
Contribute to creative prompts, guest questions, potential episodes topics, etc. to support podcast creative.
When in studio, greet guests, provide water and refreshments, keep studios tidy before and after recording sessions.
Assist with studio calendar management.
Answer emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Run errands and handle deliveries as needed.

Qualifications:

1-2 years experience as a production assistant required and 1 year experience working with podcasts or broadcasts preferred.
Passionate and knowledgeable about podcasting, true crime and comedy entertainment.
Strong organizational skills, able to schedule meetings, track production calendars and keep shows on schedule.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience with high level talent a plus.
Ability to maintain a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure, and an ease with people from different cultural and educational backgrounds.

Work Environment:

Standard office environment, currently working remotely.
Sometimes required to work weekend and/or non-standard hours.
Must own vehicle for running errands.
Minimal travel may be required.
