It’s an exciting time to join us at our flagship Gene Therapy manufacturing facility!

 

The Andelyn Biosciences’ Vector Manufacturing group is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Vector Data Analyst Intern. The Data Analyst Intern will learn how Clinical Viral Vectors are manufactured and how to mine and trend data. You will be supporting management and Subject Matter Experts to capture and analyze process data to aid in process optimization.

Under the guidance and direction of the Associate Director and Subject Matter Experts, essential functions of the Vector Manufacturing Data Analyst  Intern could include:

 

Project Execution. The candidate will be given instruction in the manufacturing processes sufficient to aid in the process data mining project.  With guidance from AD of Manufacturing and SMEs, the interns will assist in developing a scope, define a timeline for capturing process data.  The project will include formatting data for analysis, drafting status reports, and data summary reports.  

 

Goals:



·               To extract historical-critical process parameters from AAV production, Purification, and Cell Culture data from Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR) into Excel.


·               To clean, review and transform the data into a usable format for analysis using tools like Tableau.


·               Work with Subject Matter Experts to review data and provide progress updates

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required 

Must be currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at a College or University.

Must be a Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Mathematics, or related area of study.

No minimum experience is required.

Must be literate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Familiar with database or data analysis software beneficial

Must excel in working independently and in a team environment.

·        Frequent Sitting

·        Occasional Walking/Standing/Stooping

·        Occasionally Talking on the phone or in-person

·        Frequently Typing on a computer keyboard

·        May require the ability to aseptically gown or wear other PPE regularly
