The Andelyn Biosciences’ Supply Chain group is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as Production Planner.

Andelyn is primarily a full-service manufacturer of Adeno Associated Virus (AAV). We work with over 100 clients each year to manufacture AAV at development, toxicology, clinical and commercial quality.

Under the guidance and direction of the Supply Chain Manager, essential functions of the Production Planner include at a minimum:


General Description


The Production Planner is responsible for providing support to the Supply Chain team related to the development of a material and capacity feasible production schedule.  Specific tasks are, but are not limited to, execution of a Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability, developing a production schedule, and maintaining target inventory levels.  This position will work in tandem with the Business, Production, Purchasing, and Warehousing teams to meet the goals of Andelyn.  A successful candidate needs to meet the responsibilities and requirements below.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


 


·       Utilize ERP system to review, analyze, and react to the Material Requirements Plan to ensure a continuity of supply to support finished good production plans


·       Facilitate material shortage, job board, and production scheduling meetings ensuring alignment between functional areas


·       Ensure production schedules are capacity feasible based on predefined resources


·       Collaborate upstream with the Business Team and downstream with Production groups to ensure customer requirements are met


·       Expedite and de-expedite material orders ensuring alignment with customer/production requirements


·       Monitor and maintain inventory levels to established policies and targets


·       Oversee KPIs and generation of supporting reports


·       Maintain master data accuracy


·       Provide support to other Production Planning roles


·       Other duties as assigned.


 Knowledge , Skills, and Abilities required

 


·       Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.  In lieu of degree, 10 years of relevant work experience.


·       Sound knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and experience with SAP B1 or ERP system preferred


·       Thorough time-management and organizational skills


·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills


·       A keen eye for details


·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
