Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for targeting, contacting, and qualifying strong candidates to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organization. 
  2. Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, identify potential sources to find qualified candidates, and develop a recruiting strategy and process. 
  3. Collaborates with key customers to create and implement a recruitment strategy plan annually. 
  4. Senior Talent Acquisition Partner manages and oversees the recruitment process. Utilizing full-cycle recruitment tools; sourcing, screening, applicant testing interviewing, negotiating, and offers.
  5. Plans and implements comprehensive external and internal recruitment programs including timely and cost–effective recruitment advertising programs to meet current and projected needs of assigned areas.
  6. Interviews, evaluates, and refers applicants for vacancies. Checks references and supervises any appropriate testing. Conducts equity and recommends hiring wage. In conjunction with hiring manager, negotiates job offer with external candidates. Coordinates hiring and orientation process for new hires.
  7. Manages applicant tracking database, process/screen applicants, analyzes and determines eligibility and qualifications for hire. Facilitate transfer process for internal candidates. Provides timely customer service to both internal and external applicants.
  8. Develop an effective pipeline of key talent from competitors and industry leaders
  9. Manage and participate in targeted recruiting initiatives in various cities

  10. Serves as a consultant regarding matters related to recruitment, retention, and selection techniques, including hard to fill positions, diversity, and talent development. Provides timely customer service to managers and staff.
  11. Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  12. Creates and implements a comprehensive social media recruitment plan for each hiring department
  13. Participate and act as a “brand ambassador” of the organization in a variety of recruitment events, career fairs and conferences.
  14. Network through contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
  15. Analyze and report on specific metrics on a consistent basis to ensure value to the organization; propose changes to improve performance.
  16. Develop, cultivate, and manage relationships with hiring leaders to provide service excellence and recruitment expertise.
  17. Active participation in Community Work Force Development: workshops, job fairs, school presentations.
  18. Active participation in organization wide interview training
  19. Reports to the HR Director regarding pertinent developments, concerns, and problems within the field of recruitment and retention.
  20. On an annual basis, participates in the departmental budget preparation by providing related data/statistics; recommends budget requirements and operates within budgeting framework.
  21. Identify and build diversity program initiatives that expand the talent pool at all levels and ensure recruiters are aligned with sourcing strategies.

knowledge , skills and abilities required

 

1.              Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources administration, business administration, or a related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

2.         Five to seven years of human resource recruitment experience

3.             3.         Minimum of 2 years experience GMP/Biopharmaceutical/Biotech Industry

4.              Effective computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, applicant tracking and online application management systems.

5.              Demonstrated evidence of ability to develop recruiting process and sourcing strategies.

6.              Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

7.              Effective interpersonal skills and customer service skills required in interactions with job candidates, other departmental and hospital personnel, and the public; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations required.

8.              Knowledge of labor laws, EEO laws, wage and hour laws.

9.              Ability to resolve conflict and resolve problems.
