Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence across ALPFA’s national network. This position is responsible for evaluating financial data trends, supporting budgeting processes, streamlining compliance procedures, and delivering actionable insights that support our chapter operations and expansion goals. This individual will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, timely reporting, and improved fiscal outcomes at the chapter and organizational levels.
Responsibilities

Analyze chapter-level financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, forecasts, and projections to guide strategic decisions

Ensure accuracy and integrity in current and historical financial records

Support the annual and multi-year budgeting process for chapters and internal teams

Review chapter expense reimbursements and provide timely resolution to inquiries

Collaborate with Finance team to streamline compliance, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Assist in reviewing chapter membership data and addressing inquiries from the membership queue

Deliver at least two actionable financial insight reports per quarter

Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function

Complete assigned ad hoc financial tasks on schedule
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

0–3 years of experience in a financial, accounting, or analytical role

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent organizational and planning capabilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
Preferred Attributes

CPA or working toward certification (preferred, not required)

Experience supporting budgeting processes in a nonprofit or multi-site organization

Salary & Compensation
Base Salary: The position offers a competitive starting salary of $65,000 - $70,000
