Position Summary
The Technical Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing ALPFA’s technology ecosystem by ensuring it is robust, secure, efficient, and aligned with business needs. This role is responsible for managing the full technology lifecycle—from evaluation, optimization, and implementation to support and eventual retirement.
As a key technology driver, the Technical Analyst will empower ALPFA employees with efficient technology solutions, optimize platforms for seamless operations, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The role requires collaboration across departments to ensure ALPFA’s technology investments deliver maximum value and enhance operational efficiency.
This position reports to the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO).
Travel Requirement: 10% - 15%
Responsibilities
Technology Lifecycle Management & Support

Own the full lifecycle of technology resources, including needs assessment, evaluation, selection, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.

Provide technical support (Levels 1-3), troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.

Collaborate with third-party vendors for technology support and optimization.

Maintain up-to-date documentation on systems, processes, and technology procedures.
Access Management & Security

Manage user roles, permissions, and access control across platforms, ensuring data security and compliance.

Implement access management best practices and support cybersecurity initiatives.

Standardize user access management processes and implement a robust access control system.
Technology Optimization & New Implementations

Continuously evaluate existing platforms, identifying opportunities for streamlining, enhancement, and integration.

Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies that improve efficiency and support business growth.

Assist with operational tasks such as system configurations, data migrations, and automation initiatives.
Reporting & Data-Driven Insights

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor technology performance, usage trends, and operational impact.

Use data-driven insights to inform technology investment decisions and enhance decision-making processes.

Identify and implement at least two key technology improvements that increase efficiency or reduce costs annually.
Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support

Work closely with departments including IT, Finance, and Operations to provide tailored technology solutions.

Ensure user satisfaction by reducing ticket resolution time and improving adoption of new technologies.

Act as a bridge between technical capabilities and business objectives.
Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems, or technology operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience or certifications accepted).

CompTIA Security+ and Salesforce Administrator certifications are highly valuable and may substitute for a degree.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Salesforce Service & Sales Cloud).

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience with access management, security best practices, and reporting tools.
Preferred Attributes

Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell).

Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

Familiarity with Google products (G-Suite, Google Looker Studio, Google Analytics), Cvent, Github, & Monday.com.

Vendor management experience.

Experience with AI, data visualization, and machine learning concepts.
Salary & Compensation
Base Salary: The position offers a competitive starting salary of $75,000 - $100,000
