F&SCM Senior Consultant – Warehouse

The Role:

As an F&SCM Senior Functional Consultant, you will be tasked with leading requirements gathering and conducting functional design analysis. In this role, you’ll bring your expertise across key operational domains. You’ll need to possess strong Advanced Warehousing, with Manufacturing, and Supply Chain expertise.  Your background should lie in Operations, like Shipping, Purchasing, and/or Sales Order Processing. You’ll need to have experience guiding and successfully executing implementations, covering the entire spectrum from initial Analysis to requirements gathering to design solutions, configuration, training and operational support and more. As an F&SCM Senior Consultant – Operations or Finance focused, you'll be at the helm of our customer’s digital transformation. You'll be there to support our customers in designing and implementing the heart of their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and attend client meetings.
  • Conduct necessary research to establish ideal solutions for client's business.
  • Offer strategic and practical solutions to client problems.
  • Present findings to client in concise and clear manner Identify opportunities for improved processes.
  • Transform business requirements into a straightforward and technical model, and match processes to application requirements.
  • Prototype and configure processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM to make sure the system works the way your client needs it to
  • Run workshops with your clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions for any application, and handle gaps detected during prototyping.
  • Work with the technical team to make sure that your clients' needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions.
  • Create or evaluate a breakdown of your client’s business processes so that you can identify and link functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Documents settings and prepare your clients to use the system.
  • Support testing the proposed system and train users.
  • Establish global ERP architecture by integrating ERP solutions across functional lines.
  • Support the sales team in deal shaping. Increases organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions to other engagements. Accountable for the feasibility and overall estimates
  • Mentor team members and help improve their capabilities.

 

Who you are:

The ideal F&SCM Functional Consultant must have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O’s Supply Chain Management capabilities and functionalities. Prior experience in implementing Warehouse Management solutions, and Manufacturing is required.  An experienced consultant with 5+ years of experience.

  • Extensive knowledge with F&SCM D365 within the specific areas of: Warehouse Management, some Trade & Logistics, and Finance.
  • Gathering requirements, crafting the perfect configuration, testing, training, documentation, and troubleshooting.
  • You love to share the solution with customers, presenting them with confidence and navigating difficult conversations when client desires and ideal systems aren’t aligned.
  • You understand the importance of change management and ensure everything is on point.
  • When issues arise, you are eager to find a solution, avoiding project disasters or pesky escalations.
  • You appreciate frameworks and utilize them to keep our missions on course.
  • Adept at designing and coordinating multiple D365 F&SCM full cycle deployments.  
  • Worked on multiple successful implementations both on-site and remote. 
  • Required to demonstrate credibility with the client and be able to articulate how Dynamics 365

will add value to their business.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years or more experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&SCM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Dynamics D365 F&SCM WMS certifications are recommended, or a CPA certification is beneficial.
  • Experience interfacing with end-users and gathering business requirements.
