Summary:
The primary responsibility of a Product Training Coordinator is to ensure that internal employees and external clients have the training and resources needed to be aware of MTI internal product knowledge. To do this they will need to partner with managers in various departments and key stake holders to determine quality standards and then develop training, assessment, and materials to certify that their recipients are properly prepared.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work with managers and clients to determine training criteria needs
· Work with product managers and account managers to establish execution plans per product
· Provide assistance to field and support team to ensure proper training and knowledge
· Build and assign e-learnings using various different training execution softwares
· Create and host multimedia conference calls
· Develop and lead classroom style in person sessions
· Film and edit training videos
· Produce and execute assessment tools
· Provide assessment data back to departmental managers to verify individual performance
· Authors, reviews, or edits support documents
· Participate in pilot installations to validate and improve training material
· Maintain and update materials libraries in internal cloud based systems
· Acts as subject matter expert for Global Services training needs including:
o Programs
o Projects
o Products
o Procedures
o Technologies
· Work with the Training Manager to develop and execute initiatives to improve the training department
Competency:
· Strong communication and problem solving skills
· Technical writing and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge about technology and ability to properly communicate effectively to large groups
Education and/or Experience:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a training capacity
· Experience with field deployment and technical aspects
Computer Skills:
· Strong background in Microsoft Office with a focus on PowerPoint
· Experience with Canva, LMS, SCORM, Adobe Suite
· Web development skills are a plus
Physical Demands:
· Moderate travel required (25%)
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
· Sitting for long periods of time; bending; reaching above head for items
· Ability to use a computer and telephone system on a consistent basis
Work Environment:
· Typical electronics plant and warehouse environment
· Typical office environment with average lighting and noise level
· Constant interruptions are the norm
