The Treasury Analyst is part of the Corporate Accounting Team and supports all aspects of Treasury Operations activities. The role oversees corporate cash management, assists with the development of banking solutions for all business segments/entities, prepares and records treasury transactions, and supports the cash forecasting process.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide key inputs into the cash forecasting process.
  • Contribute to the global cash management strategy by monitoring funds in each account.
  • Administer Corporate Card programs.
  • Support accounts receivable with daily cash receipt posting.
  • Prepare weekly check-run and schedule related approved wire transfers.
  • Prepare bi-monthly wires to foreign bank accounts to ensure foreign payroll is funded timely.
  • Evaluate new banking products and services and assist with optimization of banking footprint.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, balances, bank/Treasury systems and bank cost information.
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with covenants.
  • Prepare for approval and submission the monthly Borrowing Base report to PE firm and Lenders.
  • Prepare monthly DSO, DTP and Inventory Turns Reports.
  • Post non-routine bank reconciling items such as fees or recurring approved direct debits.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for domestic and international bank accounts and legal entities.
  • Review and account for customer purchases of MTI products and services transacted via MTI’s e-commerce platform.
  • General backup for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable when those employees in these functions are out of the office.
  • Assist with implementation of appropriate internal controls over cash management.
  • Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures, including audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify emerging technologies and process automation (FinTech) that can be leveraged to address business needs, drive process improvements and reduce costs.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years work experience in treasury/cash management and/or accounting
  • Understanding of domestic and international payment flows (cross-border wires, SEPA/ACH)
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
