The Role:
We are seeking a trauma-informed and tech-savvy Mass Tort Case Manager with exceptional writing skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage cases for victims of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Assault as well as other Mass Tort litigations, working directly with claimants to gather necessary evidence and build robust cases for our law firm partners.
You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
Case Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of sexual abuse cases, from initial intake to case resolution. This position will regularly have challenging conversations about sexual violence. An ability to manage vicarious trauma and practice self-care, with support from a team and a supervisor, is essential.
Claimant Support: Provide respectful, empathetic, trauma-informed support so that claimants feel heard and supported throughout the process. While this position supports claimants in the requirements for a mass tort case, general support beyond referrals is outside of the scope.
Evidence Gathering: Work with the Claimant and our internal teams to gather records, collect testimony, and complete court-mandated documentation as needed to strengthen compensation claims for victims and our law firm partners who represent them.
Documentation: Prepare detailed case summaries, reports, and other documentation required for legal proceedings with perfect grammar and detail.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal legal teams, our review & QC teams, and other stakeholders to build strong, evidence-based cases.
Technology Utilization: Utilize our proprietary in-house case management software and other technological tools to track case progress, manage documentation, and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
Compliance: Ensure all case management activities comply with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
Continuous Learning: Openness to continuous learning and improvement through our Learning and Development programs.
We’re Excited About You Because You Have...
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Background in social services, victim advocacy, social services, or similar fields
• Experience and skills in working with trauma survivors
• Worked with survivors of sexual violence, with respect, dignity, and trauma-informed practices
• Maintain boundaries within the scope of the position
• You set and maintain expectations on requirements for claimants
• Thorough understanding of sexual violence dynamics
• Experience and ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally responsive services
• Proven experience in legal Case Management, preferably in mass tort or sexual abuse legal cases
• Strong understanding of legal processes and requirements for mass tort litigation
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to prepare detailed, accurate, and compelling case documentation
• Experience with case management software and CRMs
• Resilient with strong self-care practices and the ability to handle emotionally challenging cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to claimant interaction
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Certification in trauma-informed care or related training
• Knowledge of current trends and developments in mass tort litigation
• Experience working with people who are incarcerated or previously incarcerated
• Fluency in the Spanish language preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits
This role will receive competitive salary, benefits, and variable compensation. The salary for U.S.-based employees in this role will be within the range listed below. Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience, location, and performance. This position is also eligible for variable compensation based on individual and company performance.
In addition, the position includes access to medical, dental, vision, and other benefits including flexible paid time off. 💰 Salary Range:
$60,000—$70,000 USD annually
