This position is responsible for integrating, managing, and growing new Vendor programs/opportunities across Verdant's key verticals. The role will work closely with Senior Leadership, Sales, Credit, Operations, and Accounting business partners.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Spend time learning Verdant's competencies, processes, capabilities, etc.
  • Understand the needs of Vendors in Verdant's key verticals and create financing solutions to help them sell more equipment through financing
  • Help target OEMs, Distributors/Dealers, 3rd Party Originators, Resellers, etc. in Verdant's key verticals
  • Structure and price deals that you originate
  • Work on marketing material and present Value Propositions to OEMs, Distributors/Dealers, 3rd Party Originators, Resellers, etc. in Verdant's key verticals
  • Research, report, and analyze OEM/Dealer data as needed
  • Assist Business Development in onboarding new Vendor programs
  • Act as liaison to Credit, Operations, Accounting, customers, and 3rd Party Servicers, and respond timely, prioritize accordingly and stay on top of all requests
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of departments within the company and function well within a team framework
  • Work on special projects as required

 

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 10-15 years' equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills
  • Highly organized, self-starter, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously and meet communicated deadlines
